Standard booking terms & conditions
Credit card details are required to confirm all bookings, these are held on file and nothing is charged until departure. Cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to your scheduled arrival will incur no charges.
Check-in is available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Early check-in and/or late check-out is by prior arrangement.
Multi night stays that are cut short on arrival may be charged the remaining nights booked if the room cannot be re-let.
Naturally we will make every attempt to re-sell the room(s) and if successful a full refund will be made. Guests are always advised to take out travel insurance to protect themselves against unavoidable changes in their travel plans. If you fail to arrive at all, you will be charged the full tariff.
Changes in reservation term: Any extension to a booking is subject to availability of rooms. Earlier departure than the reserved date will result in you being charged for the full reservation unless approved by motel management and are able to re-let the booked accommodation at an equivalent tariff. All amendments to bookings or cancellations must be in writing and confirmed by us.
Payment for all accommodation must be made in full on the day of departure.
Cancellation policy
When confirmed reservations are cancelled inside 48 hours prior to arrival, they will incur a cancellation fee of one (1 ) nights accommodation.
Refunds
A full refund is given if more than 48 hours cancellation notice is given.

The Monarch Motel accepts the following forms of payment: Eftpos, Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express,.
General: All deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the motel will be charged to the registered guest.
Smoking
For the comfort of all our guests the Monarch Motel is a smoke free complex. Please smoke outside, away from open windows, doors and other guests. We ask that you responsibly dispose of your cigarettes in the ashtrays provided. In the event of someone having chosen to smoke in the room we reserve the right to charge up to $300. or two nights’ accommodation for cleaning and loss of income.
Group Bookings Terms & Conditions
A group is defined as 4 or more rooms booked for people requiring accommodation for the same itinerary and/or common purpose.
When confirmed group booking reservations are cancelled inside 7 days prior to arrival, they will incur a cancellation charge of 50% of the total booking charge. If credit card details are held, this charge will be debited against the credit card number. If a cheque deposit has been paid, then this will become non-refundable.
